When we first listened to the new album “Tied Up To Machines” in the the studio we were blown away and knew we had to hear more.
Kingbastard aka Chris Weeks creates blippy, choppy, 8 bit, jumping, happy, electronic, glitch-pop music with a cheeky dark side (you heard that here first). Or at least we think he does. He’s so far been compared to artists such as Thom Yorke, Mouse on Mars, Plaid, Gorillaz, happy bits of Aphex Twin, The Flashbulb and for good measure we’ll throw in Wagon Christ (Luke Vibert) as well a smidgen of Daedelus. Not only is this man a fine producer but he’s also a talented artist producing all of his own album cover material.
